Shipping ~

Order Processing Time - Orders are processed in-house by our team. Most deliveries are processed and shipped out within 1-3 business days if all products are in stock. There may be a delay in a shipment of your order if an item is out of stock.  If that delay is more than 5 business days we will notify you by email. 

Holiday Shipping - During holidays, our processing time can average 3-5 business days. So be sure to plan in advance to ensure your order arrives on time. Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day are the holidays that will have the most impact on our processing time. 

How We Ship - We ship most packages by USPS Priority Mail. We found that this is the most cost effective way for us to ship our products for both our customers and our business. Most packages will arrive within 1-3 business days. Expect more time during the holidays. We can not guarantee a delivery date as we do not have control over the USPS delays. Most shipments arrive in a timely manner. But with COVID 19 there has been increased delays in some areas. So plan accordingly. Because we are a small business we are not in the position to negotiate lower shipping charges through carriers. We ship within the U.S. only. 

When We Ship - In order to avoid having your package sit on a delivery truck over a weekend, we typically ship Monday through Thursday, and reserve the right to push the shipment of your order to a new day if we anticipate a delay in the shipping process.  Getting your order to you in perfect condition is our highest priority.

Shipping During Warmer Weather - We do recommend our ice pack service for all chocolate orders being shipped between April - September. It is an option on all our kits and the ice pack service is also available as an individual item to be added to any order. Our ice pack service includes an ice gel pack and mylar wrap. We also take a few extra steps to ensure your package arrives perfectly. We do charge for this service as it takes us twice as long to pack your item, we need to cover the cost of the mylar wrap and ice pack and the cost of shipping goes up from the weight of the ice pack and the size of the box. We use a larger box for all cooled orders to keep the heat as far from your order as possible. 

What You Can Do During Warmer Weather - We take great care to package your order to ensure that your order arrives safely and in perfect condition.  Even with our meticulous packing, it’s imperative that your package not be left in a hot, sunny location upon delivery.  

Please either: 

1.) Arrange to be home to receive your package. 

2.) Ship to a location where you will be able to receive your order at time of delivery. 

3.) If you are not able to receive the delivery, be sure there is a cool, shady location for it to be placed by the shipper. 

Non Chocolate Orders - Non chocolate items still can get soft and sticky with the warmer months. To ensure your products arrive the same as they left our facility, we highly recommend the ice pack service for our non chocolate candy orders as well. 

 

Returns & Exchanges ~

Our products are not eligible for return or exchange.  However, if there is any trouble at all** with your order we will gladly work with you to set it right.  Simply contact us, describe the nature of the problem, and we’ll work together to find the best solution.

**Please see the above note about delivery locations and heat/sunlight.  We can not be held responsible for a package that is left exposed to high temperatures. We also can not be held responsible for orders that do not include an ice pack and arrive damaged or melted due to the heat.
